• Assess and invest in renewable energy sources to power our facilities and reduce reliance on non-renewable energy.

• Reduce food waste generation at various stages of the production process, minimizing excess of inventory, optimizing process efficiency, and improving packaging to avoid overuse as well product loss due to incidents during the transport.

• Improve the management of our hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

• Prioritize the following hierarchy in waste treatment: prevention, re-use, recycle, recovery and disposal.

• Monitor water consumption and implement measures to identify and address areas of inefficiency.

• Reduce the environmental impact of packaging throughout the supply chain, by working with suppliers to source sustainable raw and packaging materials.

• Inform and train employees at all levels, as well as contractors and co-packers, about the present policy and our significant environmental aspects and how to reduce them by raising their awareness on the environmental impact of our organization.

In addition, we recognize the importance of communicating our environmental expectations and encourage suppliers to adopt their own sustainable practices, as well as providing our stakeholders with clear information on our environmental initiatives and goals, progress, and challenges.
