4 Mission Chargrilled Wraps

280g chicken, pre-cooked e.g. pulled, breaded strips, roasted slices

1 onion, sliced

1 pepper, sliced

400g tin of black beans or Mexican mix beans

100g cheese
-
6 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, crushed or finely diced

2 tsp parsley

Step 1
Make the garlic butter. Melt the butter in a small ramekin or bowl in a microwave on medium heat. Add the garlic and parsley into the melted butter and Leave to the side and let it cool slightly.

Step 2
Prepare the chicken. If you’re using pre-cooked chicken slices just cut into strips or create pulled chicken to prep and add at the end of step 3 for a few minutes. If using packet chicken requiring cooking follow the packet instructions and slice into strips when cooked.

Add the onions and peppers to a frying pan with a dash of oil and cook on a medium-high heat until cooked and browned.

Drain the beans and add to a saucepan with 1 tbsp of oil and a sprinkle of paprika if desired, cook on a hob at a medium heat for approx. 3-5 minutes until the beans are warmed through and the skins are bursting.

Prep each wrap laying it flat on the side and place the chicken, peppers, onions, beans and cheese covering half the wrap, fold over and brush one side with the garlic butter mix with a brush.

Place the garlic side down in a preheated frying pan on a medium to high heat, until crisp and golden brown, brush the other side of the wrap and then flip over until crisp and golden brown.

Place on a chopping board, cut into three triangles and serve.

TIP: Drizzle with extra garlic butter if you wish for even more flavour bursts!
